Our Mission
Project 1138 aims to do an autopsy on the Ben Moore Dropspace collaboration in bringing Moore’s real life Art Wars exhibition of Stormtrooper helmets, modified by some of the world’s best artists, into the DeFi space by turning it into a premium NFT project. It would be impossible to tell the entire Art Wars NFT saga exactly as it happened but with the help of a team of troopers who have painstakingly done the forensics on it, we aim to tell it as honestly and as accurately as we possibly can.
Our Hope
They say rebellions are built on Hope. It’s a cool story but Hope is not a cool investment strategy. We invested time, energy and money in the hope that we could give something back to the Art Wars community. Some answers maybe. Some closure. Perhaps be the harbinger of the dark side of NFTs. Our hope is that Project 1138 is enjoyed by all. Those who were involved and those who were not.
Our Promise
While emotions have run high for many caught up in this saga, in no way are we intending to create a bash Ben Moore podcast. In fact we pledge to follow the values and practices of Ethical Journalism in every episode. Seeking the truth and reporting it in as balanced a manner as possible. Stating fact when it is backed by evidence and highlighting conjecture when it is merely an opinion.

David ‘Spikerama’ White is an award-winning artist, film director, creative director and Star Wars fanatic. He has worked for some of the biggest marketing networks and tech companies in the world, developing powerful campaigns for markets across the globe. He now invests in and designs for the crypto space.

Andy ‘TK421’ Flemming is an award-winning writer and was voted one of the ‘twenty most creative people in Australia.’ He’s written chart hits, ad campaigns, poetry for film festivals and now consults to creative agencies worldwide. A passionate art collector, he’s the proud owner of a substantial urban art collection including pieces by Banksy and Shephard Fairey.
